This two-channel tube preamp is modeled after the iconic "Dumble" boutique amp. Its versatile clean channel, developed from a modified Fender amp, and its harmonically rich drive channel, generated purely by tubes, have supported the most memorable performances of guitarists throughout history. The two channels can be switched using the unit's footswitch or a remote switch (optional).
By placing it at the final stage of the effects chain and connecting it from the preamp to the return of various amplifiers, you can obtain a consistent vacuum tube sound in any studio. If your transistor amplifier does not have a return, simply connecting it to the amplifier's input is also effective.
We recommend connecting modulation and spatial pedals to the rear of this unit.
When used with a line connection to a PC via an audio interface, you can get a more natural electric guitar sound. You can also connect directly to various speaker simulator pedals.
[control]
・GAIN: Adjusts the input gain to the Clean ch.
・Bright Switch: Adds high frequencies to the sound. Does not function when GAIN is at maximum.
・Deep Switch: Lowers the center of gravity of the sound, making it deeper.
・Rock/Jazz Switch: Changes the overall volume and also changes the characteristics of the 3-band EQ.
3-band EQ: This is an improved version of a Fender-style EQ, and its effect changes seamlessly with the aforementioned GAIN and various mini switches. Try out various combinations.
・OD ch LEVEL: Determines the input volume (distortion depth) to the OD ch. The Clean ch GAIN setting also affects the distortion depth.
・OD ch RATIO: Determines the volume of the OD ch. Adjust the volume difference with the Clean ch here.
MASTER: Adjusts the overall volume. This does not affect the tone of the preamp itself, so you can bring the sound you create at home directly to the studio.

*Please use a 12VDC (center negative, 500mA or higher) adapter or power supply. Some adapters may produce noise. Using a non-standard power supply, such as a voltage supply exceeding 12V (e.g., 18VDC), is extremely dangerous and may result in component damage or fire. Using a non-standard power input will immediately cause the product to stop working and will definitely void the warranty. Please exercise caution.
*After use, be sure to unplug the DC jack or turn off the main power of the AC adapter or power supply to avoid continuous power supply to the pedal. Continuous use for extended periods of time may cause damage to the unit or shorten the life of the vacuum tubes. You can also turn off the power to the unit by unplugging the input jack.
*There are parts inside the pedal where high voltage currents of 300V or more flow. Never open or close the back cover while the power supply is connected. Even if the power is unplugged, touching electronic components immediately after use may release the electricity stored in the electrolytic capacitor, posing a risk of electric shock. Please take the above points into consideration when replacing the vacuum tube, and do so at your own risk.
*This pedal drives the vacuum tube at high voltage, and multiple components emit heat during use. When using this pedal on a pedal board, please be careful not to completely block the heat dissipation holes on the side of the unit.
*For a few minutes after turning on the power, the vacuum tubes may not be fully warmed up, causing noise in the sound.
