Overview

A signature pedal based on the Match Box, which is equipped with two independent overdrives, has been created based on Kelly SIMONZ's requests!

The dynamic range that does not impair the expression of your picking, the brilliant harmonic components, and the drive tone that keeps up with the speedy playing of iconic sounds are truly overwhelming.

The regular MatchBox consists of two independent overdrive circuits, "RED" and "GOLD", but the Special Edition version changes "RED" to "SILVER", which has been fine-tuned to suit Kelly SIMONZ's playing.

This special edition also features a foot switch circuit that enables sophisticated ON/OFF, and a TRS terminal for controlling the ON/OFF of each circuit with a latch signal.The custom-made 2mm thick brass case has an antique feel and a distressed finish that makes it look like it has been used for a long time, giving it a classical and heavy appearance.

Kelly SIMONZ uses it to further boost an amp when it is distorted, adjusting the DRIVE to add edge and distortion when playing wound strings, and FLAVOR to improve clarity and tone even when playing fast phrases with plain strings.

Sophisticated Footswitch Circuitry

It is possible to switch between "SILVER" and "GOLD" separately as ON/OFF, or between "BOTH" and "both OFF" simultaneously with a single action from any state.

What is [FLAVOR]?

This is no ordinary tone control!

This is the "secret ingredient" that adjusts the tone as it changes in response to the DRIVE value.

By adding FLAVOR, you can achieve a more distinctive guitar sound that won't get lost in the band ensemble.

*The input signal is first input to the "SILVER" channel, then output via the "GOLD" channel. These circuits can be switched ON/OFF individually with the foot switch, and both circuits can be turned ON simultaneously with the BOTH switch.
