A collaboration distortion pedal between Freak Guitar Lab, founded by Mattias IA Eklundh, and Kogalashi Sound Magic has been born!

The "PUPPY" distortion pedal, a collaboration between "Freak Guitar Lab," founded by Mattias "IA" Eklundh, the guitarist of the Swedish progressive metal trio "Freak Kitchen," and "Kogalashi Sound Magic," has been born.

Mattias, who masterfully plays the 8-string guitar, paid particular attention to the low-frequency range, which is unique to multi-string guitars. It should have sufficient distortion, a thick, weighty, and deep sound, and the sound should not be muddy. It features a Growl control that adjusts the low frequencies to balance both propositions.

Not only for 8-string guitars, but also for multi-string guitars such as 7-string and 9-string guitars, and for down tuning such as Drop D. It is compatible with the specified requirements.

Also, by using the Texture control to change the texture of the distortion and the Edge control to adjust the high frequencies. You can obtain a smooth lead tone that sounds like singing.

Growl: Adjusts the low frequencies.
Adjust using 12 o'clock as a reference. While 12 o'clock is usually sufficient for a standard 6-string guitar, for down tuning or multi-string instruments (especially 8-string like Mattias's, or Low E), increasing the setting from 12 o'clock will yield a deeper sound.

*If you want a tight and crisp sound, please use this setting.

Texture: Adjusts the texture of the distortion.
Adjust using 12 o'clock as the reference point. Increasing the setting will create an open and rough sound, while decreasing it will create a smooth sound.
Edge: Adjusts the high frequencies.
Adjust using 12 o'clock as a reference. Compensates for the amount of high frequencies that change when adjusting the Texture.

*Please note that increasing the Texture will also increase the high frequencies, so adjust the Edge to reduce them. Conversely, decreasing the Texture will reduce the high frequencies, so adjust the Edge to increase them.

Level: Adjusts the volume. Functions as a master volume that determines the final volume.
Gain: Adjusts the gain. Adjust based on the minimum value.

This product is designed to provide sufficient distortion even when the gain is turned all the way down.
*If it's difficult to notice the change, please adjust while muting and playing the bass strings.
